The VYO For the first time on CD.

Leaders of the group Miroslav Kuvaldin and Sergey Pidkaura decided to revive The VYO and celebrate the “re-union” release his first CD. The album included 18 tracks recorded between 95 to ’98 of the last century. Some of these songs, music lovers can now listen to the cassette album “Plastic”. Given the numerous requests of fans, and that the team had been found and restored about 10 old tracks that were considered missing, music group The VYO will be first released in the laser disc format (especially tape recorder is now a rarity and rare). Real decoration of the album and a logical point in the work of The VYO those times was the song “Kalyaky-Malyaky” written in the poem “Poltava” Honorary Doctor of the USSR, Academician MA Kasian (famous countryman band).

The starting point style of reggae in Ukraine can be considered the formation of the band The VYOin Kobeliaky, Poltava region in 1991. Core team made up guitarist Sergey Pidkaura and singer Miroslav Kuvaldin. Within 10 years of existence the band musicians occasionally diverged, converged, they were joined by other participants. In 1995, The VYO became the winner of the “Red rue” with zadyrkuvatoyu song “Love You.”

The peak popularity of their music came at the time of cooperation with artistic agency “Area A” and rotation of clips in the eponymous hit parade. Contemplating colorful appearance Miroslav, the audience could not believe that guy was born in eastern Ukraine and “speaks so well in our” old. >It was in those days, Dawn Song (“Each of us can something …”) became manifest Ukrainian rastafari.
… but in the year 2000 the band announced the termination of its existence. Sergei Pidkaura as author, co-operates with leading Ukrainian musicians (A. Ponomarev, N. Mohilevska), Miroslav Kuvaldin launches career TV (channel M1) and recorded a solo album “Mirror of Peace” …
… and now after 8 -year break in order to satisfy the craving for nostalgic music experience, the musicians of the band The VYO decided to resume his concert activity, which was announced this summer, the festival of amateur art “VYO, Kobeliaky“.
